My work begins with a place and the people who move through it. I make public art, sculptures and interactive installations, that bring people together and turn a shared moment into something they carry with them. I am an artist first, and my training as an architect, industrial engineer, and fabricator gives me the means to build it well. I'm an intuitive lateral thinker with a keen eye for aesthetics, and I make work that is engineered to last and built to be felt.
I am drawn to work that deepens human connection and gives shape to the experiences we share. I am most interested in the fleeting, collective moments that bind people to a place and to one another. I use my engineering and fabrication expertise to make that feeling tangible.
I work with patience and discipline, motivated by my core personal values. I find the best results come from creative, cross-functional collaboration on truly supportive teams, working closely with the people who commission a project, build it, and live with it long after.
